Women and Children's Building Fund

Hope needs a home.
You can make a difference.

Our community needs a new Women & Children’s Shelter. We need to expand our efforts to offer hope and opportunity to the growing number of single women, mothers, and children living in difficult situations.

the building is unsuitable & unsafe

  • Too Old & Worn Out

It has old electrical, plumbing, heating, etc.

  • Too Small

The shelter is full and can't fit our growing community.

  • Hard to House Families

We can't always place mothers & children in their own room.

  • No Necessary Office Space

No private space to meet with counselors.

  • No Room for Classes

There is no space for recovery classes or life-skills training.

  • In a Rough Location

Kids do not have a safe place to play due to crime rates in the area.

New Facility Allows for:

  • Apartments for Women with Children
  • Classrooms for Programs & Trainings
  • Indoor & Outdoor Play Space for Children
  • Office Space for Counseling
  • Located in a Clean & Safe Neighborhood

Help Secure the future of homeless women & children

You can make a difference. We have already purchased 3.5 acres of land in Kennewick, but we need to raise 7.6 million to make this project a reality.

Ongoing Support of this Project Strengthens:

Rescue

Providing basic physical needs (food, shelter, showers, clothes) to women & children experiencing a crisis.

Recovery

Addressing the underlying causes of homelessness & poverty while establishing healthy patterns of living.

Restoration

Supporting residents as they transition back into society and establish themselves in the workplace.

Thank You For Your Support

Thoughtfully and prayerfully consider investing financially in the lives of women and children in our community. Please pray for the successful completion of the new Women & Children’s Facility. Donations of all sizes are appreciated and needed – all qualify for IRS tax deductions, to the full extent permitted by law.
